She works daily on the teaching imparted by Prisma Dental about medical topics related to dentistry and has provided a cultural basis which helps improve the quality of life of people by education in prevention dental problems and maintenance of oral wellness.
“Throughput the years, we have managed to heal the teeth of a large percentage of the population, but also meet the expectations of restoring dental function, esthetics and patient’s confidence. Having healthy teeth and a nice smile, patients have the opportunity to get a job, regain social life, and to rebuild his/her personal life” says Rubinstein.
This foundation develops different programs in all Central America. They gather the best students in the country to share their educational values through reading and lectures on topics such as the environment, entrepreneurship and excellence.
The organization also provides free educational books for children and adolescents. The entrepeneurs awarded and the honor roll students share their values and distribute the books together. Its purpose is to form new academic talents.
The companies participate as successful models of excellence, because they are role models for children, and thanks to them, the books can be delivered at no cost to children, parents, schools and teachers.
The “Reading is Living” was created in 1994 and was established as a national movement under the vision of intellectuals, academics and entrepreneurs. Currently, it operates in Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico. Annually, it benefits more than 10,000 children and adolescents who excel academically and culturally.
